NoteJava Runtime Environment
is automatically installed with SAMreport-Lite for some products.
If it is not automatically installed for your product, follow the install
instructions in this section.
SAMreport-Lite
requires Java Runtime Environment 1.4.2_04.
To install Java Runtime Environment
- Insert the Autodesk product media into
your computer’s drive.
- Go to <product>/x86/support/SAMreport-Lite/Java
2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.204 and click on the Windows
Installer Package.
- On the License Agreement page, accept
the terms, and then click Next.
- On the Setup Type page, select Typical
or Custom and click Next. The installation will begin.
A Typical installation
installs all of Java’s features. With a Custom installation, you
can specify the install directory and choose program features to
install. Custom installs are only recommended for advanced users.
- When the installation process is complete,
click Finish.
